While working in the field of certification of medical devices, we unexpectedly came across a VERY new aid for the blind and visually impaired people!!!
It appears that a LABRADOR RETRIEVER is already being trained at a guide dog school in Germany to serve the blind in Lithuania. Learn about the school here
https://www.fuehrhundschule.de/
The process lasts about 3 years, both an animal according to the requirements and a blind person according to the requirements are selected and the compatibility of both of them is still checked.
Please share this information with blind and visually impaired people, as they may not be able to find this article and "see" it with their tools.
The Blind, Visually Impaired and Youth Association has started collecting funds and wants to help the blind have real help - to provide a Guide Dog. After the preparatory work, the organization, where both the blind and the candidate guide dog will work, has the goal of bringing a CERTIFIED and suitable guide dog back to Lithuania from Germany!!!
We want to be a part of this project, and we encourage YOU to contribute to the initiative of the Blind, Visually Impaired and Youth Association, which is currently starting. Click here https://www.aukoju.lt/ and with a few clicks of a button, we contribute to the possibility for the blind 20-40 percent to "see" the world and become mobile and safe in movement.
